Andrew heads the corporate restructuring and insolvency team. He joined the firm in 2016, having previously been a partner at a City law firm.  

Andrew has extensive experience in advising on distressed situations including corporate restructurings, turnaround and formal insolvency in the private and public sector.

He has advised numerous private equity houses, companies and management teams in relation to debt and equity restructurings. He also acts for financial institutions, distressed investors, pensions trustees and insolvency practitioners.

Recent experience includes advising on leveraged restructurings and distressed debt and business transfers. He also has experience in relation to financial institution insolvency and his work includes both domestic and cross border matters.

Andrew is a member of R3 and Insol Europe.

  • Acting for Agent Provocateur Limited in connection with its pre-pack administration sale and the subsequent wind down and restructuring of its international business located across 19 countries.
  • Advising a US investor in connection with the debt and equity restructuring of a UK manufacturer.
  • Advising a  US private investor in connection with the pre-pack acquisition of a global software company.
  • Advising the UK government in connection with contingency planning relating to a distressed statutory service provider. 
  • Acting for numerous buyers of distressed debt and businesses including an international investor group on the acquisition of one of the UK’s largest pawnbrokers.
  • Advising numerous private equity houses, investee companies and directors in relation to debt and equity restructurings and contingency planning.
