Charlotte is a partner in the dispute resolution team, helping clients arrive at the right solution to their issue, minimising impact and maximising success. She is supported by our extensive dispute resolution practice with a proven track record in the highest-profile cases and cross-border, multi-sector expertise. 

Charlotte advises on large scale investigations, inquests and inquiries. She has particular expertise in advising clients at the incident response phase to multi-fatality health and safety incidents and has extensive experience in acting for clients in sensitive and high profile inquests.

She specialises in incident response, criminal safety investigations and prosecutions, inquests and regulatory compliance issues. Charlotte advises across a range of sectors with a particular specialism in transport and energy. Charlotte is also a qualified Legal Project Manager. 

 
Experience
  • Acting for a manufacturing client in a multi-million pound arbitration claim regarding the provision of faulty goods from an international supplier.
  • Advising a transport client in relation to the defence of multiple warranty claims from international buyers.
  • Providing on-going incident response in relation to a multi-fatality incident, including advising on provision of documents to regulators and contractual liabilities in relation to safety obligations.
  • Advising a client in relation to an ORR prosecution into a death at work, including representing the company at the inquest and advising on the appeal of an Improvement Notice.
  • Providing advice to a train operating company in relation to possible breaches of health and safety legislation following a death of a passenger. Also advised on approach to inquest and assisting with the response to the invitation to interview under caution.
  • Acting for a non-departmental government body in defence of a multi-million pound procurement challenge.
