Rob Russell-Smith Director

Rob is a director in the firm’s construction and engineering team. His focus is on large scale infrastructure projects, particularly those within the energy, transport and defence sectors.

Rob is experienced and adept in advising on and negotiating all major standard forms of construction and engineering contracts, with particular expertise in the FIDIC and NEC3/4 suites.

• Advising a developer of a new nuclear power plant on the procurement of key plant for the nuclear island.
• Advising a developer of a fusion power facility on its contracting strategy for works and plant.
• Advising on a multi-billion pound NSIP within the transport sector.
• Advising a contractor/JV on the delivery of a £1 billion+ highways project in South Wales.
• Advising on several multi-million pound redevelopment schemes relating to defence assets.
