Ross is the firm's head of real estate development. He leads a team of lawyers who advise developers on complex regeneration projects (often in joint venture with the public sector and other landowners).

He advises on projects that create new homes and workplaces, leisure and retail facilities and clients include St. Modwen, Skanska, Bouygues Development, Sir Robert McAlpine, City & Country and Canadian & Portland Estates plc.

Ross also advises the public sector on their appointment of development partners (often selected through a regulated OJEU procurement).

  • Advising Skanska on the pre-let and sale of its flagship commercial office development, 66 Queen Square (pre-let to KPMG and Handelsbanken and sold to Aviva -shortlisted for Estate Gazette’s Deal of the Year 2015).
  • Advising St. Modwen on its joint venture with the Homes and Communities Agency to develop Locking Parkland - a new 1,450 home community with retail space, a new school and 450,000 sq ft of high quality business space.
  • Advising Canadian & Portland Estates plc on the redevelopment of 103 New Bond Street, pre-let to Christies and sold to a private overseas investor.
  • Advising specialist developer City & Country on the acquisition of portfolio of prisons from the Ministry of Justice.
