Overview

Sandra is an associate in the firm's competition team and assists on a broad range of competition law matters. She completed her training contract with us in August 2018 and prior to that, Sandra completed an Undergraduate degree in Law with International Studies at the University of Surrey, and a Master’s degree in Competition Law from King’s College London. 

Sandra completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. 

Experience
  • Advising Co-operative Group on its merger control filing in relation to the acquisition of Nisa Retail Limited and obtaining a Phase I clearance from the CMA and the Channel Islands Competition and Regulatory Authorities.
  • Advising Yeo Valley on the UK merger filing relating to the acquisition of Yeo Valley Dairies by Arla.
  • Advising a client in relation to a formal complaint to the CMA about its supplier's anti-competitive behaviour.
  • Advising a major water utility business in relation to a potential abuse of dominance allegation from a downstream competitor in arbitration proceedings.
  • Advising clients in various sectors under-going investigations by the CMA for breaches of the Chapter I Prohibition and /or Article 101 TFEU, including applications for leniency.
