Alex trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Banking and Finance team in August 2024. He has experience advising both lenders and borrowers in real estate finance, project finance and general corporate lending, also in corporate restructuring and insolvency.
His experience includes advising on the financing of development commercial property, hotel financings and housing development financings. Alex also has experience on complex banking transactions, including working within multi-jurisdictional teams on transactions with international elements.
Experience
- Pluto Finance: a member of the core team providing advice to Pluto Finance across a wide range of real estate finance transactions.
- National distributor: Advised the directors of a national distributor in respect of their duties during an accelerated merger and acquisition process due to financial distress and the subsequent appointment of administrators.
- Coutts & Co: Assisted with various real estate finance transactions, including the negotiation and completion of a £10 million Facility Agreement.
- Investec: Assisted with the completion of a revolving credit facility agreement and associated security package between the borrower and Investec’s private capital team.
- Atrato Group: Advised on multiple corporate accessions to a £30 million revolving facility agreement.
