About

Alice qualified into the Banking and Finance team in 2024 after training with the firm. She advises lenders, borrowers, sponsors, and insolvency practitioners across the full life cycle of financing transactions, from origination and structuring through to restructuring and formal insolvency.

She specialises in corporate restructuring and insolvency, project finance and real estate finance and has experience of acting on a broad range of domestic, cross-border, and multi-jurisdictional financing transactions, advising on all aspects of documentation from drafting through to negotiation and completion.

Alice is a member of the TMA NextGen South West Counties Committee.

Experience

  • Hodge Bank: Advising on the pre-pack acquisition of the business and certain assets of Blue Motor Finance Limited from administrators at EY-Parthenon.
  • PwC: Advising as joint administrators of C4C 2022 Limited, on the administration and sale of Frugi, the children’s clothing retailer.
  • Facility for Energy Inclusion: Advising the Facility for Energy Inclusion (managed by Cygnum Capital) on the USD 7.5 million secured financing to MySol Grid Zambia to finance the construction of 60 solar mini-grids in Zambia, connecting over 40,000 people to electricity for the first time.
  • Camco REPP 2: Advising on the fund’s inaugural transaction – a USD multi-tranche loan facility to Kwama Energy Limited, a Zambian independent power producer developing wind and solar PV projects across Zambia.
  • Gladsmuir Resource Recovery Limited: Advising on the refinancing Gladsmuir Resource Recovery (formerly known as Levenseat EfW), an energy-from-waste facility based in the Scottish Borders.
