About

Andrew is a senior associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team, having joined the firm in 2014. He works with commercial and public sector clients to act in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and to advise on risk mitigation and novel legal issues.

His main areas of focus are commercial, regulatory and public law matters. He also specialises in public procurement, transport and technology disputes.

  • Atos: Acting for the claimant in challenging the Met Office’s £850 million procurement of a new supercomputer.
  • First Trenitalia West Coast Rail: Acting for the incoming West Coast Partnership franchisee in the 2019 Rail Franchising Litigation procurement challenges.
  • Confidential TOC: Acting for the claimant in arbitration proceedings seeking £tens of millions in damages for Sustained Poor Performance.
  • DHSC: Acting for the Government in responding to judicial review proceedings relating to the (so-called) “Operation Moonshot”.
  • Confidential TOC: Acting for the claimant in arbitration proceedings seeking £tens of millions in damages for late delivery of compliant rolling stock.
  • MoJ: Acting for the Government defending a procurement challenge for a security and facilities management contract worth £ hundreds of millions.
