Andy Sheppard Associate

Andy is an associate in the firm’s Construction & Engineering team. He joined the firm in 2018 as a trainee and qualified in August 2020.

Andy advises on both contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering work for a range of public and private sector clients including employers, main contractors and subcontractors. Andy’s experience includes acting for clients in formal dispute resolution proceedings including adjudication, arbitration and litigation.

• Advising an engineering solutions contractor in an adjudication and two arbitrations on a £160 million highways project procured under an NEC3 form of contract.
• Assisting with the negotiation and drafting of contracts on a large-scale international solar farm project.
• Drafting a settlement agreement for an investment bank on a multi-million pound dispute arising from an office fit out contract.
