About

Antonia is an Associate in our Projects team, advising on major infrastructure, transport and energy projects. She has experience supporting both public and private sector clients on the commercial and regulatory aspects of complex projects, including rail, renewable energy, nuclear fusion and energy-from-waste developments.

Her renewable energy experience includes advising on solar, onshore and offshore wind projects, with particular expertise in corporate and private wire PPAs, grid connections and licensing issues. She also advises on a range of commercial contracts and project delivery arrangements across the public sector and wider infrastructure market.

Experience

  • Finlight: Advising across its renewable energy portfolio, including the development of template agreements, early-stage solar project development matters and project acquisitions.
  • Blue Gem Wind: Advising on the key legal and commercial issues associated with the Erebus 100MW test and demonstration floating offshore wind farm project in the Celtic Sea, including support on a subsequent grid modification application to resolve and mitigate connection risks.
  • Fusion for Energy (F4E)/ITER: Advising as a seconded legal expert to the world’s largest experimental fusion project. Advising on a range of high-value commercial contracts, procurement exercises and tender documentation.
  • Sheffield City Council: Advising on the procurement of a delivery partner under the Advanced Zoning Programme to develop and deliver a low-carbon city-scale heat network, including procurement, commercial and project delivery considerations.
  • Public sector clients: Advising central government, local authority and wider public sector bodies on procurement strategies, commercial contracts, collaborative arrangements and infrastructure project delivery.
  • Rail sector clients: Advising on commercial, procurement and project delivery arrangements relating to rail infrastructure and transport projects, including the negotiation and management of complex contractual frameworks.
