Caroline trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Real Estate team. She has experience of advising a range of public and private sector organisations in the finance, telecoms, rail infrastructure, healthcare, and defence sectors.
She advises landowners in respect of the Electronic Communications Code. Her experience includes advising lenders in respect of development and investment finance transactions secured on commercial real estate assets and due diligence for new lending transactions.
Caroline also advises rail clients on landlord and tenant issues and provides real estate advice on corporate share sales and acquisitions, including preparing a suite of certificates on title for the vendor of a multi-million pound property portfolio consisting of a chain of international hotels.
She is qualified in England and Wales, and Northern Ireland.

- Lloyds Bank Plc: A member of the core team supporting Lloyds Bank in relation to high-value acquisition financing, development financing and portfolio refinancing transactions across a wide range of UK real estate assets.
- Transport for London Group: Providing advice in respect of commercial leases and the sale and purchase of land and property.
- Various water companies: Advising on land agreements under the Electronic Communications Code interfacing with the water companies’ specific requirements as statutory undertakers.
- Waitrose Limited: Providing advice in respect of BAPA arrangements with Network Rail for infrastructure repairs and maintenance.
- Defence Infrastructure Organisation: Advising on leases of commercial land.
- Somerset Care Limited: Advising on its portfolio of care homes including the sale of existing care home businesses and managing the leases for the company’s ongoing retirement living offering.
