Charlotte is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate team having joined Burges Salmon in February 2025.
She advises on a broad range of commercial real estate work including the acquisition and disposal of investment and development properties, landlord and tenant matters, asset management work across different sectors and real estate finance.
Experience
- John Lewis Partnership: Advising in relation to assets including distribution centres, existing stores and new stores.
- YTL Developments: Acting as part of the team advising on the regeneration of the former Filton airfield with a new urban community comprising 2,675 houses, a new retail/town centre, a new Arena for the south-west region and 24 hectares of employment space.
- Aviva Investors and Lands Improvement: Acting as part of the team advising a consortium of landowners in respect of the Linmere development, a housing-led, mixed-use development in Houghton Regis with planning for 5,000 homes.
- Representing lenders on high-value acquisition and development financing, as well as portfolio refinancing across diverse UK real estate assets.
- Acting for a property investor on a £300million refinance of a landmark office building in central London.
- Acting for a developer on a £115 million development loan for a purpose built student accommodation scheme in Bristol.
