Chloe is a Dispute Resolution partner and leads the firm’s highly regarded Aviation practice in London. She is recognised by Chambers, Legal 500 and Lexology as a leading lawyer and Next Generation Partner in the UK for aviation disputes and regulatory matters.

Chloe acts for airlines, travel companies, aircraft lessors and OEMs in complex cross-border commercial disputes. Her experience includes claims involving airports, ANSPs, travel agents, MROs and suppliers, as well as aircraft redelivery and rent disputes in both the English courts and arbitration. She also represents aviation businesses in judicial reviews, inquests and inquiries, and in regulatory investigations and enforcement action brought by the CAA, CMA and ASA.

Chloe has extensive experience of UK, EU and international aviation regulation and is a trusted adviser to clients navigating complex regulatory frameworks. She provides clear, practical advice on matters including airline licensing, airport services agreements, airport slots, aircraft leasing, ground handling, passenger rights, and UK and EU consumer and travel law.

Chloe frequently speaks on air law and diversity at global industry events hosted by ICAO, IATA, the European Air Law Association and the Royal Aeronautical Society. She is a published author on aircraft accident investigation and teaches air law on the LLM programme at Leiden University in the Netherlands.

  • Competition claim: Acting for a leading European airline in English High Court proceedings brought by an online travel agent claiming anti-competitive behaviour.
  • Aircraft sale dispute: Defending an Asian flag carrier in proceedings in the English Commercial Court and Court of Appeal arising from allegations of bribery relating to an aircraft sale.
  • Judicial review: Acting for a major European airline in a successful judicial review of a decision of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) concerning alternative dispute resolution of airline passenger claims.
  • Aircraft leasing: Representing an African airline in a rent and redelivery dispute in the English Commercial Court.
  • Airport dispute: Defending a UK low-cost airline in quantum proceedings in the English High Court concerning the early withdrawal of two based aircraft from a UK airport.
  • Regulatory advice: Advising on a wide range of regulatory issues including airport slots, ownership and control, carrier liability, accident investigation and crisis response, aviation autonomy, EU/UK Regulation 261/2004, the Montreal Convention 1999, accessibility, disruptive passengers, ATOL Regulations and Package Travel Regulations.
