Chris is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Finance team. He has a range of experience in corporate transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations and private equity transactions.
He also advises companies on non-transactional and corporate governance matters, and acts for a range of clients (including founders, management teams, and private and public companies) on both UK and cross-border transactions.
Within the healthcare sector, Chris has experience advising on acquisitions and disposals of care homes, dental practices and healthcare technology platforms. Within the transport sector, he has advised on several acquisitions in the road-transport space.
Experience
- FirstGroup: Advising FirstGroup on a number of acquisitions as part of its strategic growth in the B2B and B2C coach sector.
- Somerset Care: Advising not-for-profit care provider Somerset Care Group on the acquisition of Green Tree Court nursing home, and on the sale of Isle of Wight nursing home Inver House.
- Founders of Oxford Summer Courses: Supporting the founders of Oxford Summer Courses on their sale to US-based summer school provider Summer Discovery (backed by private equity firm Verlinvest).
- Moss / Eagletree Capital: Advising Moss (a portfolio company of funds managed by US private equity firm EagleTree Capital) in connection with their acquisition of UK-based premium graphics firm Macro Art.
