Danny is head of the firm’s Edinburgh office and leads the Corporate practice in Scotland.
He has 25 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, investments, restructurings and joint ventures. His client base ranges from international investors and FTSE100 companies, to innovative and ambitious entrepreneurs.
In addition to his recognised expertise leading cross-disciplinary teams on large, high value energy transactions, Danny has also built up a successful practice advising fast-growing businesses in the technology, life sciences and food and drink sectors.

- First Bus: Advising on its acquisition of UK coach business, Lakeside Group.
- Octopus Investments: Advising on its acquisition of ISP provider, M12 Solutions Limited, including a £250 million funding package.
- Brookfield: Advising one of the world’s largest alternative investment management companies on its investment into a battery storage and solar PV development platform.
- Engie: Advising the global energy company on its acquisition of Ixora Energy Limited, a leading biomethane producer.
