Ellie trained at Burges Salmon, qualifying into the Employment team in September 2020. She advises both employers and employees on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR matters.

She has experience in resolving disputes and defending claims in the Employment Tribunal, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistle blowing and wages claims. She also advises on various stages of the employment lifecycle, from drafting employment contracts and service agreements, reviewing and advising on HR policies and procedures, and advising in relation to termination of employment including redundancies. In addition, Ellie advises on data protection matters, including responding to data subject access requests.

Ellie has experience of advising on the employment aspects of commercial transactions, including carrying out due diligence and drafting key transaction and ancillary documents. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
