About
Eve graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2021 with First Class Honours in Scots Law. Whilst at university, she volunteered with the Edinburgh University Widening Access Programme, mentoring students from challenging backgrounds and encouraging them to pursue higher education.
She completed her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) in 2022 and Legal Practice Course with integrated MsC in Law, Business and Management in 2023, achieving a distinction in both.
Eve has undertaken seats in Projects, Corporate Finance and Family and is currently on secondment to Nuclear New Build at EDF Energy, completing a Construction seat.
Experience
- FirstGroup plc: Assisting FirstGroup, via its joint venture with Hitachi, with the acquisition of batteries for electric buses to support FirstGroup in decarbonisation of its fleet by 2035.
- EDF UK: Advising EDF UK on the sale of gas storage assets to unlock capital to secure future investment in EDF’s clean energy pipeline.
- Drafting: Reviewing and drafting of complex FIDDIC and NEC style construction documents following negotiations with contractors to agree commercial terms.
- Procurement matters: Supporting with a variety of procurement matters, including evaluation of tenders, referrals to the Subsidy Advice Unit and strategic advice to public sector bodies running procurements.
- Family law matters: Assisting with various family law matters, including divorce and financial settlement, ante and post nuptial agreements and Children Act applications.
