Evelyn is a Trainee Solicitor at the firm, due to qualify into the Employment team in September 2026.
Evelyn joined the firm in 2022 as a Paralegal, supporting the Defence team within the Projects department. From 2023 to 2024, she undertook the LLM Legal Practice at the University of Law, successfully passing both SQE1 and SQE2 on her first attempt. Throughout her training contract, Evelyn completed seats in Dispute Resolution, Tax and Trusts, Competition, Banking and Finance and Employment.
Evelyn holds a first-class degree in Law with Politics from Queen Mary University of London. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Pathways to Law Ambassador, organising outreach events to promote access to legal careers and higher education for sixth form students from underrepresented backgrounds.
She is also an active member of BBalanced, the firm’s gender-balance network.
Experience
- Employment Tribunal litigation: Acting for a national retailer in defending a range of complex Employment Tribunal claims, including unfair and wrongful dismissal and discrimination.
- Negotiated exits and termination: Advising employers on exit strategies and termination processes, including the drafting and negotiation of settlement agreements.
- Data subject access requests: Assisting employers with the management and response to data subject access requests from current and former employees.
