Fraser is a senior associate in the firm’s Real Estate team having joined the firm in 2023. He is qualified to practise in England & Wales and Scotland and has a wide range of experience across both jurisdictions.
His main focus is acting for developers and investors in matters involving renewable and low-carbon energy generation projects. He has experience across a wide range of technologies, including wind, solar, battery storage and biogas. He also has experience in advising on the development of clean heat and carbon capture and storage projects.
Fraser also has a wide range of experience in commercial property with a particular emphasis in acting for investors in retail warehouse and healthcare assets.
Experience
- Bluefield and GLIL: Advising in relation to the £220 million acquisition of a 247MW portfolio of 58 operational solar assets.
- Voltis: Advising on a major NSIP solar project in England which is to be developed on rural land.
- Worthing Borough Council: Acting on all real estate aspects of the development of the Worthing heat network.
- Eni/Progressive Energy: Advising on a wide range of real estate matters arising from the HyNet North West project.
- Simply Blue/Ørsted: Acting in relation to onshore aspects of the Salamander floating offshore wind development.
- Puma: Acting in connection with the financing of a range of care home developments.
