About
Joanna is a solicitor within the firm’s Construction and Engineering team. She completed her solicitor apprenticeship with Burges Salmon, qualifying in September 2024.
She assists with advising on contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering matters, and has experience advising developers, funders and public sector clients on various contract forms including NEC, FIDIC and JCT.
Experience
- Developer: Acting for a developer on a number of infrastructure packages using NEC contracts in respect of its £20 billion nuclear power station.
- Infrastructure project advice: Advising on several multi-million pound infrastructure projects relating to defence assets.
- National utility company: Acting for a National Utility Company, providing advice on managing issues with a contractor, including reviewing the compensation event regime under an amended NEC3 form of contract and preparing for adjudication proceedings.
