About
Kate is a solicitor in the firm’s Real Estate team specialising in commercial property law. She was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2023 and joined our Real Estate team in August 2023.
She undertakes a variety of real estate transactions, including corporate acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, and private land acquisitions. Kate also has experience in advising landowners, developers and investors on a variety of renewable energy projects, including large scale solar, wind, battery storage and linear infrastructure projects.
Experience
- Real estate assets: Acting for clients on the procurement and disposal of real estate assets.
- Corporate M&A transactions: Advising on the real estate aspects of various corporate M&A transactions.
- Commercial leasing agreements: Advising clients on their commercial leasing arrangements, including green energy requirements and minimum EPC ratings.
- Energy developers: Leading on numerous private solar projects for energy developers. Such projects have included BESS elements and been for standalone battery storage.
- Solar projects: Acting on large-scale, DCO-backed solar projects including multi-landowner solar projects.
- Nuclear industry clients: Advising clients in the nuclear industry on land transactions relating to nuclear power stations.
