Keith is a partner in the firm's projects team. He specialises in advising sponsors, government departments and lenders on the development and financing of major projects, in the UK and internationally. Keith is active in the following areas:

Defence

• Advising Ascent (a Babcock/Lockheed Martin JV) on the Fixed Wing package of the UK Military Flying Training System project, involving the provision of aircraft, infrastructure, ICT systems and simulators.
• Advising a Babcock/DHL JV on its bid for the MoD's Logistics Commodities Supply Transformation programme.
• Advising the UAE Armed Forces on the US$5 billion YahSat satcom project.
• Advising the Ministry of Defence and Department for Transport on the Search and Rescue Helicopters PFI Project.
• Advising the Ministry of Defence on the Skynet 5 satellite PFI project, the A400M Training Service PPP Project, the Astute Class Training Service PFI project and the Medium Range Radar contract.
• Advising Force Protection Europe Limited on its successful bid to deliver the Light Protected Patrol Vehicle requirement to MoD.

Transport

• Advising FirstGroup plc on numerous rail projects, including the mobilisation of the Greater Western Franchise and bids for the Caledonian Sleeper franchise and ScotRail franchises.
• Advising a major international transport operator on international rail bids, including a bid for the operating contract for the Dublin LUAS light rail system and collaboration arrangements in relation to Spanish passenger rail liberalisation.
• Advising a rolling stock manufacturer on its bid to supply trains to the Crossrail project.
• Advising a major international transport operator on bids in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE.
• Advising Isle of Wight Council on its Highways Maintenance PFI project.
