Matthew Loader Associate

Matthew is an associate in the technology team and advises on a broad range of data protection, technology, intellectual property and commercial matters for clients in a number of sectors, including technology, retail, energy and defence.

Matthew has a particular interest in the fintech sector and has completed a legal secondment to an established fintech business.

• Advising customers and suppliers on software, data and technology licensing arrangements.
• Advising clients across multiple sectors (including technology, utilities and financial services) on UK GDPR and privacy compliance issues, including data sharing and processing arrangements, international transfers of personal data and data protection issues arising from Brexit. 
• Advising a scale-up providing AI cyber security products on a wide variety of commercial agreements. 
• Advising a large utilities organisation on its IT outsourcing arrangements.
