About

Myra is a Senior Associate in the International Tax team specialising in advising high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals on a range of private client and immigration work.

Within the private wealth sector, she advises on complex issues and interactions between UK immigration and tax law including the UK tax implications of moving to the UK, pre-immigration tax planning, tax residence, domicile, settlement and naturalisation.

The Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide 2022, 2023 and 2024 named Myra as one of the Associates to Watch for immigration. She is also listed as one of the key lawyers in a Tier 1 Immigration Team on Legal 500 in 2024.

Myra is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA) and is a co-convenor for the ILPA South West working group.

She is also a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has completed the STEP Diploma in Tax and Estate Planning (England and Wales). She is a regular contributor to Lexology and has written for the Tax Journal.

Born in Hong Kong, Myra is fluent in Cantonese and speaks Mandarin to a high level.
