About

Following a career in Foreign Direct Investment, Natalie trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Real Estate team in August 2024. Natalie has experience assisting on energy, commercial and rural and strategic matters.

Natalie has had experience in drafting and negotiating options, leases and easements and reporting on title, ensuring regular and consistent communication with developers and landowners, through the progress of the transaction.

Experience

  • Advising EcoDev and Sirius on acquisitions of new properties including Reports on Title and Reports on Leases, work on Option Agreements, Agreements for Lease and resolving Highways and Search issues.
  • Advising a County Council on their acquisition of land, for the purpose of constructing a solar development and of various leases in connection with this transaction.
  • UK Offshore Wind Farm advising on offshore wind agreements for lease – each with annual option fees of c.£250m and between them expected to supply the equivalent of 3.4m households with green electricity. Managing agreements with fifty landowners.
  • UK Offshore Wind Farm advising in relation to the application for an order to grant development consent to construct, operate, and maintain two huge offshore wind farms, with particular experience in managing the care of protected species.
  • Acting for The Crown Estate on all aspects of their portfolios, including landlord and tenant work for office and retail lettings, redevelopment work and disposal and acquisition of land.
  • Advising on a large landowner including managing data rooms, drafting NDAs and concluding ancillary leases for a c.£50m sale.
