About
Rohan heads the firm’s Real Estate Finance team.
He is an experienced banking lawyer with a wealth of experience leading UK and cross-border real estate finance deals, and is a trusted adviser to banks and debt funds on investment and development deals across the capital stack. He also advises global real estate funds, propcos and developers on their borrowing requirements.
Rohan is adept at leading transactions across sectors including, commercial real estate, industrial and logistics, residential investment and development, student accommodation and hotels. As a real estate finance specialist working for both lenders and sponsors, he is noted in Legal 500 as being a very experienced and excellent facilitator on transactions.
He is a member of the Loan Market Association.
Experience
- Global Real Estate Investment Group: Advising the fund on c.£200 million of development facilities in respect of logistics assets in the UK provided by US and European debt funds.
- European Bank: Advising the bank on c.£70 million industrials and logistics acquisition facility.
- Global Real Estate Investment Group: Advising the fund on c.£45 million investment facility agreement in relation to a BTR asset in the UK.
- UK Bank: Advising the bank on a c.£45 million RCF made available to a housebuilder.
- UK Debt Fund: Advising the debt fund on an up to c.£75 million accordion facility made available to a Luxembourg fund for the acquisition of affordable housing assets.
- European Bank: Advising the bank on a c.£40 million senior investment facility and related intercreditor issues in respect of the refinancing of a PRS development asset.
