Sarah is a senior associate in the firm’s real estate team having joined the firm in 2019.
She has extensive renewables and energy experience advising developers and investors in relation to onshore wind, solar, battery storage and pumped hydro.
Sarah also advises on rural property matters including the purchase and sale of estates, farms, sporting rights and salmon fishings.
Experience
- Wind 2: advising in relation to their development of a pipeline of large-scale wind farms in Scotland. Work includes negotiating options, leases, servitudes, providing crofting advice and negotiating relevant agreements.
- Dalriada Renewables: advising on the development of its portfolio of solar, battery and wind projects in Scotland.
- Drax Group: advising on the development of Cruachan 2 pumped storage hydro project.
- UKAEA: advising on real estate aspects in connection with the Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production Programme which aims to deliver the design, build, commissioning and operation of prototype plant to demonstrate sustainable fusion energy.
- Oxygen Conservation: advising on the acquisition of over 15,000 acres for use in connection with innovative natural capital and sustainable land projects including habitat creation/restoration, woodland creation and peatland restoration.
