Scarlett is an associate in the International Tax and Trusts unit of the Private Client team.
Her practice is internationally focused. She has a range of experience advising UHNW and HNW clients in connection with tax, trusts, estate planning and philanthropy. In addition to this, Scarlett has wide experience advising a range of clients including private banks and other financial institutions, trustees and family offices.
Experience
- Tax advice and restructuring: Advising trustees, settlors and beneficiaries on the UK tax implications arising on the establishment and ongoing management of UK trusts and non-UK trusts.
- Charity and philanthropy: Advising clients on appropriate charitable vehicles and establishing charities with the Charity Commission.
- Residence and domicile: Advising clients on their residence and domicile positions, including assisting with pre-arrival and pre-departure planning for UHNW/HNW individuals and families in the UK.
- Wills and estate planning: Assisting clients with their cross-border succession planning.

- Scarlett is a Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP) having completed the STEP Diploma in Tax and Estate planning in November 2021 with distinction
