With a focus on UK and international clients, Shalini advises on a diverse range of real estate sectors, including investment portfolio and asset management, renewable energy, and large-scale development and regeneration projects.
Having trained and worked as a newly qualified lawyer at Gregg Latchams Limited in Bristol, Shalini moved to Burges Salmon in 2019, bringing valuable experience and expertise to the team.

- Aviva Investors and Lands Improvement: Advising a consortium of landowners for a housing-led, mixed-use development in Houghton Regis, Luton with planning for approximately 5,000 homes.
- Sovereign wealth fund: Advising on real estate transactional work in respect of UK wide hotels.
- US-headquartered multinational IT company: Advising on real estate transactional work, including leases and licenses, in respect of a UK wide office portfolio.
- St James’s Place Wealth Management: Advising on real estate portfolio across the UK.
- LPPI Real Estate Fund: Advising on a pooled Local Government Pension Scheme Real Estate Fund and acted on the transfer of assets valued in excess of £1 billion.
- Renewable energy developers: Advising on option agreements, leases, easements and financing for solar and BESS assets in England and Wales.
