About
Will is a director in the Real Estate team. He specialises in real estate investment, corporate real estate and real estate finance, with a particular focus on high end hotels and leisure assets, offices and industrial & logistics. His clients include real estate funds, lenders, listed companies, hotel operators and both UK and international investors.
He has extensive experience of complex, high value real estate acquisitions, disposals and refinancing matters, portfolio asset management, corporate real estate matters, head office relocations and work relating to distribution centres and warehouses. He is highly regarded by clients and colleagues alike for his pragmatic, commercial advice and excellent attention to detail.
Will has a particular interest in matters relating to ‘green leases’ and the real estate ESG agenda, and has delivered training to a number of clients and property professionals in relation to such matters.

- London & Regional: Advising in relation to their UK property requirements, including hotels, health clubs, offices and mixed-use development schemes.
- Virgin Group: Advising on their acquisition of the iconic Whitfield Studios in Fitzrovia, for redevelopment and use as the Virgin Group’s new London HQ.
- Numa Hotels; Acting for the Berlin-based group in relation to the acquisition of their first UK hotels.
- John Lewis Partnership: Advising in relation to assets including distribution centres, existing stores and new stores.
- LGPS Central UK Direct Property Fund: Acting on their entry to market and subsequent acquisitions to establish a £500m+ real estate portfolio.
- Multiple lenders: Advising lenders including HSBC UK, Lloyds, Leumi, ICG Longbow and Coutts & Co, in relation to high value acquisition financing, development financing and portfolio refinancing transactions across a wide range of UK real estate assets.
