Pensions Dashboards Update – March 2026

User testing
Phase 2 of consumer testing for the MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard began on 2 March 2026. The first stage of phase 2 is expected to last 5 months. Phase 2 will help ensure the dashboard works reliably and will inform improvements to the dashboard service before it is launched to the public. Initial findings from phase 1 were included in the PDP’s December progress update report.
Reporting standards
The PDP has published draft version 2.2 of its reporting standards. The deadline for the consultation has been extended until 20 April 2026.
Understanding the 3 pension status categories
The PDP recently outlined the different pension status categories that will appear on the dashboard: ‘confirmed pensions’ (where a successful match has been made), ‘pending pensions’ (where not all the required pension information can be displayed yet) and ‘pensions that need action’ (where a possible match has been made and additional information is needed to verify it, or where the scheme has returned a code to indicate there has been a match but the user needs to make contact before the scheme provides the user’s information).
Understanding how these categories appear and what they mean will be helpful in supporting preparations for the dashboard rollout.
Questions schemes are asking
PASA recently published key scheme questions and practical answers as dashboards progress from planning into testing phases.
