We have advised Tilleghem Capital, a Belgian private equity firm, on its acquisition of an equity stake in Saragossa Limited, a London-based technology, project delivery and talent partner to the investment industry.

The investment from Tilleghem, will fund Saragossa’s next growth phase enabling them to further scale existing services, bring new solutions to market and continue to build its footprint across Europe and the US. For Tilleghem, the deal is the latest transaction in its partnership capital strategy of taking stakes in founder-led businesses and working alongside founders and management teams to support ambitious long-term growth.

The Burges Salmon team comprised partner Dominic Davis, director Amy Moriarty, associate Tom Curnow, and solicitors Kirsty Robinson and Jordan Crowe from the firm’s Corporate and M&A team, along with associate Sam Taylor (Incentives), partner Silvana Van der Velde and senior associate Tom Passingham (Corporate Tax).

“This transaction is another important milestone, affirming Tilleghem Capital’s strategy and track record for backing high-growth, founder-led businesses. It was a pleasure to advise Lukas and the team on this strategic investment, and we look forward to seeing Saragossa’s growth over the next few years.”

Dominic Davis, Partner

“The expertise and pragmatic advice from the Burges Salmon team were invaluable in delivering this transaction. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Dom, Amy, Tom and the wider team on this exciting investment.”
