Amy McVey, an Edinburgh-based director in Burges Salmon’s Banking and Finance team, has been appointed to the Committee of the Edinburgh Insolvency Discussion Group (EIDG).
EIDG is knowledge sharing group run by lawyers and accountants specialising in insolvency law and practice. Based in Edinburgh, but with a programme of events open to all, the group provides training and networking opportunities for insolvency specialists. Amy has been appointed to the Committee, chaired by Insolvency Practitioner Duncan Raggett of AAB, alongside fellow new member John Casey of Alvarez & Marsal.
Amy comments: “I am delighted to have been appointed to the EIDG Committee and am especially motivated to support and assist in the continued development of knowledge within our specialism and to contribute to the already excellent work of the EIDG, and the Committee.”
EIDG’s programme of 2023 events commences with its annual Quiz in February, tickets for which have now sold out. Anyone interested in attending future events can contact Amy or another member of the Committee.
