Burges Salmon is one of the supporting partners of the Project You: Developing Female Leaders seminar, taking place on Thursday 6 March 2014 at the M Shed, Bristol.

The seminar, which has been organised by Lloyds Bank in conjunction with the University of the West of England, will expose delegates to local role models from corporate environments through a panel discussion. Attendees will be provided with tips and advice for career progression into senior leadership roles. Participants will also take part in workshops and discussions in relation to the creation of a Bristol-based corporate women’s network.

Sandra Forbes, partner and head of the Banking and Finance team at Burges Salmon, is delivering the keynote speech at the seminar. She has been asked to focus on her career journey, the challenges on the way and personal and practical tips for achieving a leadership role.

Sandra Forbes commented: “We are very pleased to be involved with this seminar, not least because it provides the opportunity to inspire and motivate women in the workplace who are aiming to become business leaders of the future.”
