Overview
Emily joined Burges Salmon in August 2021 qualifying into the Planning and Compulsory Purchase team, having trained in local government.

She advises landowners, developers and government bodies on a range of planning issues including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and statutory agreements.

Emily has particular experience in advising on planning agreements and conditions, judicial review and Welsh developments of national significance.

  • Assisting across the entire life cycle of nationally significant infrastructure projects.
  • Assisting and advising on compulsory purchase compensation claims.
  • Day-to-day planning advice, including in relation to public rights of way and agricultural occupancy conditions.
