Infrastructure consenting

Innovative legal and strategic advice and expert training for clients navigating the NSIP planning process from pre-application to construction.

We have been at the forefront of the NSIP regime since its inception in 2008.

We guide clients from pre-application to securing development consent orders and construction by providing innovative advice. Our extensive market leading experience adds real value to our clients – DCO promoters, local authorities, statutory consultees, and affected landowners.

Our expertise encompasses advising on project-specific needs across all aspects of the consenting process, including managing consenting risks, strategy, environmental impact assessments, habitats regulations, compulsory acquisition and land rights, BNG, special category land, marine licensing, and drafting DCOs and protective provisions.

We also represent projects at examination as advocate and maintain strong connections with leading barristers’ chambers. As active National Infrastructure Planning Association members, we stay updated on NSIP law and practice, with excellent government and Planning Inspectorate connections.

Additionally, we advise on the consenting process under the Transport and Works Act, Developments of National Significance regime and other infrastructure consenting regimes.
