Anastasia is an associate in the Planning and Compulsory Purchase team, and previously trained in local government working for a number of London boroughs.
She has particular experience in advising on CPOs in relation to local government regeneration projects, in London and the South West, and CPO compensation claims both inside and outside the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).
She is also a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association (CPA), a board member on the CPA Futures, as well as an active member of a number of associated working groups, and a member of the Woman in CPO initiative.
Anastasia has experience of the consenting of major infrastructure projects especially in relation to a number of renewable sectors. She also advises landowners, developers and government bodies on a range of planning issues including planning agreements, conditions and call-in applications in both England and Wales.
Experience
- Bath and North East Somerset Council: Advising the client on all aspects of the Somer Valley Enterprize Zone compulsory purchase order and associated Side Roads Order.
- Various London Boroughs: Advising on all aspects of CPO and compensation in relation to a number of large housing regeneration schemes including voluntary acquisitions and title rationalisation.
- High-net-worth individual: Advising in relation to two compensation references in the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) relating to the (Hazel Grove (A6) to Manchester Airport A555 Classified Road) CPO 2013 and reaching a settlement.
- Cardiff Parkway Developments Limited: Acting on all aspects of the call-in of the Cardiff Parkway Station planning permission by Welsh ministers inclusive of supporting the client at the various associated hearings.
- Chrysaor Production (UK) Limited: A member of the core team providing support to the client in relation to all aspects of securing a DCO in relation to the 55 kilometre Viking CCS Pipeline under the NSIP consenting regime.
- Enso Green Holdings D Limited: A member of the core team providing support to the client in relation to the securing of a DCO under the NSIP consenting regime in relation to the Helios Renewable Energy Project.
