Grace is a solicitor in the Planning and Compulsory Purchase team, having trained at Burges Salmon and qualified in August 2024. She has worked on a range of planning matters, with particular experience in offshore wind projects and common land applications.
She also has experience negotiating and drafting statutory agreements, including highways agreements and section 106 agreements.
Experience
- bp & EnBW: Part of the core team in preparing a complex application for development consent for the Morgan & Morecambe Joint Transmission Project, connecting two electrically separate offshore windfarms to the National Grid.
- Privately owned airport: Supporting role on a common land exchange application, including reviewing application documents, responding to public representations and liaising with the planning inspectorate on procedural issues.
- Private landowner: Supporting role in preparation for successfully defending a town and village green inquiry, including preparation of witness statements and the hearing bundle.
- Equinor: Post consent advice relating to the Sheringham and Dudgeon Extension offshore windfarms, including preparation of marine licence variations, non-material change applications and representations relating to local planning applications
