Marie-Elizabeth is an associate within the Dispute Resolution team. Her practice straddles regulatory enforcement, corporate crime, and public inquiries.
She specialises in crisis management, incident and emergency response, internal investigations, corporate and director liability, regulatory investigations and criminal prosecutions, coroner’s inquests, and public inquiries. Her practice covers regulatory crime, including health and safety investigations, and financial crime such as bribery and corruption, serious fraud, and money laundering.
She has front line experience of advising clients on large scale and sensitive safety incidents and corporate crime investigations and prosecutions, including those by the Health and Safety Executive, the Environment Agency the Police and Local Authorities. Marie-Elizabeth also advises on Coroner’s inquests where she advises companies on their role as interested persons.
Marie-Elizabeth also has experience as part of the Solicitor to the Inquiry team on the UK Covid-19 Inquiry chaired by Baroness Heather Hallet, as a solicitor on multiple modules of the Inquiry.
