Martin is a senior associate in the firm’s Corporate team having joined the firm in 2014. He works in all areas of corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, group reorganisations, demergers and joint ventures. He acts for national and international, private and public companies and institutional investors across multiple sectors.
Experience
- Openwork Partnership LLP: Advising a majority shareholder in the financial advice network Openwork Partnership (Openwork), on a strategic investment from leading global private investment firm, Bain Capital, into Openwork.
- Virgin Hotels: In relation to the opening of a new hotel in London that was previously operating as the Mondrian London Shoreditch.
- BGF: Advising BGF, one of the largest and most experienced investors in the UK and Ireland on an investment in Troy UK, the largest independent network for industrial and engineering supplies in the UK.
- Paris based private equity investment firm: On its strategic acquisition of a UK based supplies company.
- Octopus Investments: In relation to the acquisition of alternative network provider Jurassic Fibre Limited and the provision of long-term funding for a roll out of an FTTP network across the South West of England.
- E-Trade platform: Completed a complex and extensive reorganisation for a leading UK commercial insurance e-trade platform.
