About

Olivia joined the Planning and Compulsory Purchase team in September 2020 after training at the firm. Olivia has particular experience of infrastructure projects in the energy sector, with considerable experience of offshore wind projects and projects in Wales.

She was also seconded to EDF Nuclear Generation Limited for four months during her training contract during which time she worked with the in-house legal team on decommissioning of the nuclear fleet. She is a Council member of the National Infrastructure Planning Association (NIPA) and is active in NIPA’s Early Years Practitioner programme.

  • bp/EnBW: Leading role advising on Mona DCO offshore wind application at pre-application and during Examination, connecting in Wales.
  • Equinor: Advising on the Sheringham and Dudgeon Extension projects at the pre-application, Examination and post-consent stages.
  • BRBGenCo: Advising in relation to their proposals for Bradwell B new nuclear power station.
  • Renewable Energy Systems: Advising in relation to an onshore wind farm DNS application in Wales.
  • Bicester Motion: Advising on the planning and highways aspects of a multi-stage, mixed use leisure and employment development.
  • Private landowner: Successfully defending a town and village green application.
