About

Ros is a partner in our Real Estate team, specialising in low carbon and renewable energy projects. She has extensive experience in acting for developers, investors, funders and landowners in relation to energy projects from individual rooftop solar installations to nationally significant infrastructure projects and large portfolios.

She has advised on solar, battery, offshore and on shore wind, hydrogen, hydro power, district heat, carbon capture, EV’s biomass and waste to energy/fuel projects, amongst others. Ros is also experienced in linear projects, such as long cable routes or pipelines requiring a significant number of land agreements and close working with our Consenting team.

Ros has a particular interest in onsite generation and the interaction between the built environment sector and the drive to net zero. She is experienced in rooftop solar, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, private wire agreements and the structuring of land rights to accommodate energy requirements.

Experience

  • Morgan offshore wind farm: Advising bp and EnBW in relation to the offshore and onshore aspects of the Round 4 Morgan offshore wind project.
  • Atrato Onsite Energy: Advising on Atrato’s solar roof and ground mounted projects in acquisition, development and financing.
  • Bluefield and GLIL: Leading the real estate team in relation to the £220 million acquisition of a 247MW portfolio of 58 operational solar assets.
  • Renewable Connections Developments: Leading the team developing RCD’s solar and battery portfolio across the UK.
  • Worthing Borough Council: Acting for WBC in relation to Worthing heat network land rights including energy centre lease and pipe network rights.
  • Private wire and onsite generation and supply of power: Advising on numerous private wire and onsite generation projects, and working closely with our Projects team to ensure that land rights and PPAs dovetail as intended.
