Shannon trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Employment team in August 2024. She is experienced in both contentious and non-contentious employment and HR matters.
She works on claims in the Employment Tribunal relating to unfair and wrongful dismissal, all types of discrimination, whistle blowing, victimisation and unlawful deduction from wages. She also advises on a wide range of everyday employment matters, including contractual agreements, grievance and disciplinary procedures, redundancy processes, responding to data subject access requests and termination.
Shannon is a member of both the Employment Lawyers Association and the Immigration Lawyers Association.

- Employment Tribunal litigation: Defending a range of Employment Tribunal litigation including claims for unfair and wrongful dismissal and discrimination for clients.
- Drafting documents: Drafting contracts of employment and service agreements.
- Data subject access requests: Assisting with responding to large and complex data subject access requests for clients.
- Negotiated exits and termination: Advising employers on negotiated exits and termination including the drafting of settlement agreements.
- HR policy advice: Advising on HR policies, including a reviewing existing documentation and producing new guidance documents and templates for clients.
