Susannah joined the firm in May 2026 bringing experience working on a range of commercial contracting arrangements across both the public and independent healthcare sectors.
Having worked for a number of years in healthcare regulation, Susannah qualified as a commercial healthcare lawyer in 2023 and gained experience working on a range of commercial healthcare projects. Susannah then moved into a legal counsel role at Ramsay Health Care UK and gained a broad and practical understanding of the legal and commercial challenges faced by independent providers across the healthcare sector.
Susannah has a particular interest in the use of technology and artificial intelligence in healthcare and life sciences, and how innovation is reshaping service delivery and opportunities in the market.
Experience
- Advising an independent healthcare provider on a public/private sector partnership arrangement and the associated contractual documentation required.
- Advising an independent healthcare provider on a high-value, long-running histopathology services contract, including the structuring of commercial agreements pre-tender and the commercial negotiations with selected service provider.
- Supporting an NHS Foundation Trust with project management, including a contract due diligence exercise, together with preparation and negotiation of commercial contract documentation to facilitate an NHS Trust merger.
- Supporting NHS England in respect of the establishment of new diagnostic centres across the South West of England, including the drafting and negotiation of associated commercial agreements.
