


About
Tommy attended the University of Southampton from 2016-2019, studying an undergraduate degree in Philosophy. In 2020, he gained experience in international development and public-private partnerships at a legal institute in California.
From 2020-2021, he completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Law at BPP University. During this time, he volunteered at Streetlaw, a pro bono project which delivers legal education to the public. Whilst volunteering here, Tommy delivered a workshop to students and was part of the immigration research team. The project was awarded Runners Up for ‘Best Contribution by a Team of Students’ at the LawWorks & Attorney General Student Pro Bono Awards 2021.
Tommy completed his MSc LPC in Law, Business and Management at The University of Law from 2022-2023, before joining the firm as a trainee in our Bristol office in August 2023.
He has held seats in Projects, Competition and Dispute Resolution. He is currently based in our Employment team.
Experience
- Drafting: Drafting a range of contentious and non-contentious employment documents, such as grounds of resistance and employment contracts.
- Inquiries: Reviewing and preparing bundles for a high-profile public inquiry.
- NSIA: Advising on the National Security & Investment Act, including filing notifications to the Cabinet Office.
- Merger control: Advising on merger control, including multi-jurisdictional merger control filing.
- Legal documentation: Reviewing and drafting rolling stock agreements, including leases and maintenance agreements.
