About
Victoria is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Finance team. She joined the firm in 2021, having qualified at a Scottish firm.
Since joining, she has worked on a number of M&A, investments, joint venture deals, restructurings, commercial contracts and shareholders’ agreements supporting a broad range of clients. Within the clean energy sector, Victoria has experience leading on acquisitions of battery, wind, solar and hydrogen projects as well as private equity investments in UK companies and joint ventures. Within the life sciences sector, Victoria is a key member advising life sciences companies on investments. Victoria also regularly advises on hotel acquisitions. On sports law, she has acted on the acquisition of Walsall Football Club.
Victoria often leads multi-jurisdictional teams on transactions with international elements.
Experience
- Clean Energy Capital: Advising on its landmark investment from True Green Capital LLC, a prominent renewable energy-focused private equity firm.
- Drax Energy Solutions: Advising on the acquisition of BMM Energy Solutions, a UK electric vehicle (EV) charge point installer, strengthening its end-to-end charging proposition to UK businesses and supporting them achieve their Net Zero ambitions.
- Cumulus Oncology: Advising Edinburgh-based cancer therapeutics company on the £9 million funding package secured from the Scottish National Investment Bank and EOS Advisory.
- Pandox: Leading on the acquisition of, DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre to expand Pandox’s portfolio in Scotland and add to its Edinburgh offering.
- Trivela Group: Advising the US investment house on its acquisition of a majority stake in Walsall Football Club Limited. This acquisition and related investment in Walsall FC marked Trivela’s entry into the UK.
- First Bus: Advising on the acquisition of the fast-growing Shropshire and Cheshire-based coach operator Lakeside Coaches. With a fleet comprising around 145 buses and coaches, the acquisition enhanced First Group’s presence in the West Midlands.
