About

Hannah is a commercial and technology lawyer with significant experience advising both public and private sector entities across a wide variety of industries including defence, telecoms, digital health and cloud/SaaS technology. Hannah has a particular focus on major UK public sector technology transactions and government frameworks for technology suppliers.

She trained at Burges Salmon advising on a wide range of matters including the Skynet 6 Satellite Programme before taking up several in-house commercial technology roles including for a global telecoms giant, a digital health scale-up and a US cloud vendor where Hannah was responsible for UK public sector transactional matters and government framework submissions within the UK legal team.

Experience

• Major US cloud vendor: Senior legal counsel responsible for key UK public sector deals, submission to UK Government frameworks and compliance with public procurement procedures for tenders/bids.
• Global healthcare technology company: Senior legal counsel advising on key commercial contracts including ‘hospital at home’ technology, decentralised clinical trials and companion apps.
• Global telecoms giant: Commercial counsel advising on strategic procurement matters and key technology contracts.
• Major US cloud provider: Secondment support to the EMEA public sector team.
• UK Ministry of Defence: Advising on the Skynet 6 Satellite Programme.
• Ascent (a Babcock/Lockheed Martin JV): Advising on fixed wing, rotary wing and rear crew packages of the UK Military Flying Training System project.
