Christopher Herford Senior Associate

Christopher is a senior associate in the Banking and Finance team with experience of a wide spectrum of banking and finance matters, including leveraged finance, general corporate finance, project finance and real estate finance. He specialises in real estate finance and corporate finance.

Christopher spent six months on secondment in HSBC's Real Estate Finance Central team.

• Acting for a major high-street retailer in a refinance of its corporate facilities by way of a US private placement and UK revolving credit facility.
• Acting for the borrower on a £217 million refinance by a major UK institutional investor of its solar park portfolio. 
• Acting for the lender in a £114 million refinancing of a major hotel group's portfolio.
• Acting for a UK public listed transport company to put in place various ISDAs.
