Burges Salmon advises Enray Power on two acquisitions of UK solar farms from Boom Power

The Corporate and M&A team from independent UK law firm Burges Salmon has advised Enray Power on its acquisition of two major UK solar projects from Boom Power, marking a further significant step in Enray’s strategic growth.

The transactions encompassed the Firsfield Solar Farm in West Suffolk and the Osgodby Solar Farm in North Yorkshire, which together will deliver over 110MW of clean energy capacity. The projects have secured planning consent and are poised to contribute meaningfully to the UK’s renewable energy targets.

Firsfield Solar Farm, covering approximately 237 acres, has an installed capacity of around 71MWp and an export capacity of up to 46.9MW. Osgodby Solar Farm, located in North Yorkshire, will generate up to 42.9MW of electricity.
