Overview

Megan is a senior associate within the firm’s employment team, having completed her training contract at the firm in 2014.

She advises both employers and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR issues.

Megan also advises clients on all aspects of business immigration, including matters relating to sponsor licences and sponsor duties, visa applications under the points based immigration system and right to work requirements.

She has in-house commercial experience following a lengthy secondment with a FTSE 100 client.

Megan is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Immigration Law Practitioners Association.

Experience
  • Successfully defending complex employment tribunal claims.
  • Advising a FTSE 100 client on a wide range of matters, including a large-scale collective redundancy and restructuring exercise, changing terms and conditions of employment and the application of TUPE.
  • Advising on other employment matters, including disciplinary and grievances, performance management, ill health capability and negotiated exits.
  • Advising a large retailer on the prevention of illegal working and interplay between immigration and employment law.
  • Advising clients on the full range of business immigration matters, including sponsor license applications and compliance and applications for entry clearance and leave to remain under the points based system.
  • Delivering bespoke training for clients.
